Homes for Sale in Kalorama
Presidents, Embassies, and Diplomats oh my!
The Kalorama Neighborhood located in the Northwest Quadrant of Washington DC is home to presidents, embassies, and diplomats. Nestled between Rock Creek park to the Northeast, Massachusetts Ave to the West, Dupont circle to the South and Connecticut Ave to the East. The location is fantastic and you have access to two red line metro stations; Dupont Circle and Woodly Park. The Metro stations allow you to leave the car at home enjoy all that DC has to offer. Just a few stations and you can take in a Caps game at Verizon center. A few more metro stops and you can spend the day walking the National Mall. And if you need to travel, Regan National is about 20 mins on the train. Remember, you are just a short walk to the National Zoo, Embassy Row, restaurants, and nightlife in Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan from you home in Kalorama. The homes for sale in Kalorama give you a very nice “not in the city” vibe with all the conveniences of an international city.

Great Places to Eat in Kalorama!
Farm to Table and NY Style Bagels...
If you are in Kalorama you have lots of places to grab a quick bite to eat, grab a coffee or have a full on dinner experience. For a fun and casual Mexican food, you need to check out Lauriol Plaza at 1835 18th St. Here you can enjoy the margaritas on the rooftop deck! For a shorter walk and a more upscale atmosphere get your reservations for Restaurant Nora . A true farm to table experience this place has been serving Kalorama and Dupont Circle since 1979. And for those lazy weekend mornings drop by Bethesda Bagels at 718 Connecticut Avenue. No need to go out to Bethesda for this DC nod to NYC. The “everything bagel with cream cheese” is my favorite, in case you were wondering.
Quiet Park and a ton of Green space...
Play on the Playground, or tour a museum...
Mitchell Park is one of Washington DC hidden gems. Tucked away in the Kalorama Neighborhood this park is easily overlooked. If you happen to be looking at homes for sale in Kalorama or just in the area for some good food, take a minute for some outdoor time. In the summer the park host “Film in the Field” and show one movie a month all summer long. Soak in a little history by strolling down S street from the park and visit The Woodrow Wilson House. For the true adventure and endless outdoor activities, Kalorama residents only need to head over to Rock Creek Park.
